This Roy Benson AS-202 alto saxophone is made in China, under the strict technical oversight of the Gewa company (Germany). It meets the most stringent criteria requested by music educators interms of ergonomics and sound. Technically speaking, craftsmanship and materials used are more than satisfactory for the novice saxophonist.

Made out of solid brass, polished and lacquered, it features all the mechanisms and keys of a standard saxophone, including the auxiliary high F sharp Key. Sonics and intonation are remarkable on this budget. Key positioning is inspired by high-end instruments, especially the left hand low keys. It sports all the articulations of a standard alto. For easy maintenance, the bell is removable and the Pisoni pads supplied are perfectly inserted. The overall quality is good, durable, apt to guide the newcomer's first steps.
