Origin Effects Halcyon Green Overdrive

A green overdrive pedal sets the tone right away! The new Origin Effects Halcyon is exactly what you'd expect, with a nice twist. The classic low-gain overdrive with a warm, overtone-rich sound seen in Origin Effects also features the Adaptive circuitry, which adapts the voicing in response to pick attack and volume changes at the input. The dynamics are huge, and the controls are super simple: Level, Drive, Tone and Dry, the latter adjusting the volume of the pure signal. An Adapt switch ranging from 0 to 2 selects the level of engagement of the Adaptive circuitry - which changes the behavior of the Tone pot, while another switch allows you to choose the typical 808 midrange bump or something flatter. A brilliant pedal, which brings a Tube Screamer under your foot while extending the usual possibilities.
