The Moosmann 200 bassoon is a top-of-the-line instrument with many qualities, and a true professional tool. The various uncompromising choices of the luthier Bernd Moosmann put this model at the top of his production. A clever blend of acoustic tradition and handcrafted production techniques, it is the spearhead of the brand.

This Moosmann 200 professional bassoon includes a full keywork adapted to the requirements of the orchestral musician. The selected and long-dried Bosnian flamed maple wood is stained and varnished with a buffer. The wood "breathes" and the sound is improved. The bore is lined with resin (except for the large branch) to protect it from the bad effects of humidity, which further improves the sound.

The Moosmann 200 bore has been developed in close cooperation with many professionals, teachers, concert artists, and renowned performers. The keywork is robust, stable and comfortable and is very complete. It includes the high E in addition to the standard keywork. The 9 rolls are completed by two additional rolls on the E plate, recently redesigned by Bernd Moosmann.
