A German company internationally renowned for the outstanding quality of its professional and soloist production, Mönnig is a workshop of craftsmen of the highest level. In more than 140 years of existence, it has developed a know-how that blends traditional and modern techniques, to make instruments that meet the highest standards. The models we have selected were designed in collaboration with Albrecht Mayer, soloist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and internationally renowned soloist.

This Soliste model is a marvel whose purity, clarity, and accuracy are the product of Mönnig's meticulous attention to detail and extensive craftsmanship, and brilliantly demonstrates the prowess of which the German manufacturer is capable. It benefits from a special bore that allows for great sound modulations and gives it a very wide harmonic richness, which earned it the German Wind Instrument Manufacturing Award in 2018. The great ease of emission and the precise construction with durable mechanics with pleasant feedback make it a confirtable instrument to play. Its easily modulated tone allows it to fit into any ensemble, and to be heard clearly in the chamber as well as in the concert hall.
