Moeck 5333

The versatile Moeck alto recorder based on a moodel by Jacob Denner (Nuremberg, 1681-1735) is modelled on a specimen from the "Musikhistorisk Museum" in Copenhagen. According to many renowned recorder makers, it the best preserved instrument made by Jacob Denner.

The Denner speaks clearly and effortlessly and the tone color is perfectly balanced in all registers. It has a refined tone with brilliance to it, rendering it ideal for solo playing. This agile instrument is most reliable in all registers and therefore particularly suitable for virtuose repertoire on a fast tempo with sophisticated appoggiatura such as Georg Philipp Teleman's music.
