Marigaux 901

Since many decades the 901 model has been the very heart and essence of the Parisian brand and has now become a professional standard of reference worldwide.  This semi-automatic oboe  is one hundred percent made in France from selected seasoned grenadilla wood and sports a complete Conservatoire keywork system.

Marigaux actually owes its international reputation to the 900 professional spearhead range. Its rich warm and lavish sound meet the expectations of players from the greatest orchestras worldwide. Its semi-automatic Conservatoire keywork system was developed with the collaboration of  renowned soloists and music teachers and features a 3rd octave key, a double F and a Gilet key. The low register is easier and sharper (double correspondence on the bell) and the high register is even and direct.

The 901 is totally hand made in France, in the strict compliance with high-end traditional manufacturing process. The two body joints and the bell are of premium grenadilla wood - seasoned for at least four years- when the elegant yet stable silver-plated keywork sports both cork and premium leather pads.
