The Lowden S35C KO/LS is a premium acoustic guitar S size from Lowden’s 35 Series, handmade in Northern Ireland. Designed for players seeking a compact, highly responsive instrument with top-tier tonal quality and craftsmanship, it features carefully selected tonewoods and flawless construction.
The S body shape offers a comfortable feel and clear, balanced projection—ideal for fingerstyle and articulate strumming. The soft cutaway provides easy access to higher frets without sacrificing body resonance.
The top is made from solid Lutz spruce, a naturally occurring hybrid between white spruce and Sitka spruce. Sonically graded for optimal performance, Lutz spruce delivers increased stiffness, a wide dynamic range, and rich overtones. It’s a clean, light-colored tonewood with powerful projection. Strong strummers and hard pickers will appreciate its warmth and lively response.
The back and sides are crafted from magnificient solid koa, a dense Hawaiian tonewood known for its focused mids, articulate highs, and elegant visual character. It projects well and is close to rosewood, while producing intimate and warm sound like mahogany, offering the best of both worlds in terms of sound. The five-piece neck, made from mahogany, rosewood, and walnut, ensures exceptional stability. Paired with an ebony fingerboard and Gotoh Gold 510 tuners, the guitar offers smooth playability and accurate tuning.
Like all models in the 35 Series, the S35C KO/LS features a natural satin finish that highlights the raw beauty of the tonewoods without distraction. This is a pure acoustic guitar, built without electronics, and comes with a custom Lowden hard case.
