Especially known for attracting shredders and metalheads thanks to its ultra-thin necks, floating vibratos and 7, 8 and 9 (!) strings guitars, Ibanez has established itself as THE Japanese export brand. Founded in 1957 in Nagoya, Japan, Ibanez began by producing copies of the american brands such as Fender, Gibson and Rickenbacker, before creating its own. But it was in the 80's that the brand set itself as a staple of the rock and metal landscape, by signing virtuosos such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, and established itself as a reference when it comes to superstrats.

The torrefied maple neck of the Ibanez AZ2204 Prestige here in its Hazy Rose Metal finish has been subjected to Ibanez's nitrogen heating, which increases its stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance to temperature changes. Arranged in an HSS configuration, the Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickup kit offers a moderate output level that preserves the clarity of your fundamental tone in high gain situations. The AZ2204's T1802 vibrato features machined titanium bridges and a solid steel tremolo block, ensuring fast response and amazing articulation. It's a versatile, reliable and pretty damn flashy guitar.
