The flagship of Fender's production, instruments from the Custom Shop range are guitars and basses that meet the highest quality standards, be it in the wood selection, the pickups winding, the finishes or the overall build quality. This results in highly reliable instruments with inimitable sound, providing great playability.
The composition of this guitar is very rare, as it features a rather unusual combo of specs: ash body, 9.5" radius fingerboard and oval C profile neck, and Fat 50s pickups hand-wound by Josefina herself. The Faded Olympic White finish is the icing on the cake.
The ash is a lighter wood than alder, which makes this guitar incredibly comfortable to play standing up. Of course, the selected parts are beautiful, and the quartersawn maple neck with a modern radius fingerboard has a C-profile that promotes an easy grip for all types of guitarists.
The Fat 50s pickups produce a...fat sound. It's still a Strat, you still get the "glassy" effect, and the middle positions immediately call for Hendrix-like riffs. But at the neck and bridge especially, you do feel an extra quality on the midrange side that will push your amp a little faster, a little harder.
Delivered in its case with its certificate of authenticity and accessories, this exceptional guitar comes with a 2-year warranty from our workshop.
