The DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 50th Anniversary is a commemorative reissue of a vintage American classic, now upgraded with a three-way clipping switch: silicon (aggressive and symmetrical), Lift (no diodes, clean boost), or germanium (asymmetrical, smooth and harmonic). It retains the essential elements of the original: USA-made aluminum enclosure, vintage-feel pots, mechanical True Bypass, and dual power options via battery or adapter.

The 250’s distinctive voice remains intact, but it’s now much more versatile. From tight crunch to gritty fuzz, it works with both single coils and humbuckers and can serve as main drive, solo boost, or subtle enhancer. Simple, reliable, and built to perform.
