The laminated maple body features a proprietary Collings construction, centred around a maple/spruce block that delivers a dry, focused midrange and a woody top-end. It's a sound that recalls the best vintage recordings: tight, resonant, unflinching.

The Honduran mahogany neck (set-in), with satin finish and rosewood fingerboard, plays effortlessly while offering enough resistance for controlled phrasing. The subtle dot inlays and ivoroid binding reflect a restrained but meticulous aesthetic.

A pair of Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers delivers defined, expressive tone, clean or overdriven. The 50s-style wiring with Jupiter Yellow caps and CTS pots ensures your dynamics are fully preserved.

Tested through a Fender Deluxe, Magnatone, Friedman Small Box and even with the Neural DSP Tone King Imperial, the guitar consistently responded with clarity and character, never losing its voice.
