Especially known for attracting shredders and metalheads thanks to its ultra-thin necks, floating vibratos and 7, 8 and 9 (!) strings guitars, Ibanez has established itself as THE Japanese export brand. Founded in 1957 in Nagoya, Japan, Ibanez began by producing copies of the american brands such as Fender, Gibson and Rickenbacker, before creating its own. But it was in the 80's that the brand set itself as a staple of the rock and metal landscape, by signing virtuosos such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, and established itself as a reference when it comes to superstrats.
The Ibanez SA360 NQM-RCG is a modern, lightweight and highly versatile electric guitar, covering a wide range from pop to heavier rock styles. The okoumé body is light and well balanced, paired with a quilted maple top that adds attack and articulation. The deeply sculpted SA body shape reduces overall thickness and improves comfort against the player.
The maple neck with SA profile is slim and fast, designed for smooth playability across the entire fingerboard. The bound jatoba fingerboard, comfortable 12" radius and 22 medium frets support both clean rhythm work and confident bends. The guitar feels immediately accessible, with a sense of lightness and balance that remains comfortable even during long sessions.
The HSS pickup layout combines a Quantum humbucker at the bridge with two Resolution single-coils. The humbucker delivers a tight, effective voice for crunch and saturated tones, while the single-coils cover clearer, more open registers. The 5-way selector offers versatile combinations, including a more crystalline intermediate position derived from a partially split humbucker. The Ibanez T102 tremolo is stable and smooth, from subtle shimmer to more pronounced effects. A precise, comfortable and versatile guitar, suitable for expanding a player’s range or serving as a reliable backup.
