The Friedman IR-X pedal offers exceptional Friedman tone without the need for an amplifier. It's a feature-rich guitar preamp designed to fit into any setup. With two 12AX7 tubes, it delivers the harmonic richness and dynamic response of a traditional Friedman amplifier. Its two channels cover everything from warm cleans to high-gain saturations, with a boost function for each channel. Independent 3-band EQs for each channel and voicing switches allow precise sound shaping. It can be used with an amp and cabinet or directly with its built-in power amp simulation and low-latency IR loading. The IR-X also features a transparent effects loop, USB and MIDI connectivity for integration with a digital audio workstation, and a headphone output.
