When TAMA launched their Sound Lab Project (SLP) at the start of 2012, it immediately made waves in the drumming community. The initiative kicked off with a line of affordable snare drums, each crafted with distinct specifications and materials, including maple, steel, brass, and aluminum, culminating in a full range of snare drums with unique sounds available to every drummer. 

Originating from TAMA's cutting-edge Sound Lab Project (SLP) series, this limited edition snare drum showcases a distinctive auditory character of its own, driven by a 10mm, 11-ply kapur shell. Outfitted with Steel Mighty triple-flanged hoops and Super-Sensitive Hi-Carbon steel snare wires, it delivers a sharp, bright, powerful, and incisive sound. The snare is noted for its remarkable stage presence, making it ideal for live performances and expansive musical venues. Visually, it's just as striking, with a limited edition Amber Sunset Fade finish over a mappa burl veneer, offering a blazing aesthetic that will captivate both eyes and ears.
