Renaissance recorders were constructed in such a way that their sound within an ensemble would blend to create an especially homogenous texture. Although a bit narrower, the subsequent Van Eyck bore, which links the Renaissance to the baroque era, was created for the same purpose.
Designed by Adiana Breukink for account of Mollenhauer, the eponymous "Adri's Dream Recorder" series is based on those same transitory characteristics. The wide bore creates a strong yet soft tone and is an ideal design for recorders meant to be played in large groups: ensembles, group lessons or music classes.
We propose it with a two year warranty from our workshop.
