An iconic figure in modern music (pop, rock, blues, funk, etc.) since the 1950s, Fender was founded in 1946 by Leo Fender in Anaheim, California. Through legendary guitar models such as the Telecaster and the Stratocaster, and iconic amplifiers like the Twin and the Tweed, Fender revolutionized music and remains the most sought-after brand for musicians seeking character and authenticity in their sound.
The Fender Highway Series Parlor RW Spruce features a sleek and thin acoustic-electric design, combining a chambered mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top. This combination provides a rich tone in both acoustic and electric modes. Its compact and characteristic Parlor body shape focuses the sound while offering optimal ergonomics for fingerstyle playing. Playability and speed are assured with a "C" profile mahogany neck, complemented by a rosewood fingerboard.
The bolt-on neck design of this guitar not only improves its stability but also facilitates access to the higher frets. A thoughtfully integrated soundport enriches the acoustic tones when played unplugged. Its internal structure with floating X-bracing maximizes sound output while preserving the responsive feel of an acoustic guitar. The instrument is equipped with TUSQ hardware and sealed electric-style tuners, which preserve and enhance the tone. Finally, the active Fishman Fluence pickup system provides a natural sound with volume and contour EQ controls, making this guitar ideal for live performances where sound quality and fidelity are paramount.
