The TS (Touchstone Series) range from Bourgeois is a collaboration between luthier Dana Bourgeois and Eastman. This series aims to make Bourgeois guitars more accessible. The models, including OM and Dreadnought, feature Alaskan spruce tops with Adirondack spruce bracing, and bodies made of Indian rosewood or mahogany. The guitars are designed in the United States and assembled in China, thus offering Bourgeois craftsmanship and quality at a more affordable price.

This Orchestra Model (OM) guitar is characterized by an Alaskan spruce top, providing a clear and resonant sound, to which the Adirondack spruce bracing adds powerful projection. The back and sides made of Indian rosewood enrich the sound with warm tones and subtle nuances.

The neck of the TS OM Vintage is made of mahogany, a choice that ensures stability and comfortable playability, ideal for guitarists of all levels. The ebony fretboard and bridge not only complement the elegant aesthetics of the guitar but also contribute to its clarity and precision of sound. The Schaller GrandTune tuners ensure remarkable tuning precision and stability. We found that this OM produces sound qualities quite comparable to those delivered by more "established" guitars. As for the playability, it is identical to that of the higher-range guitars of the brand.

Aesthetically, the TS OM Vintage borrows from traditional designs, with refined finishes and meticulous attention to detail. This translates into an elegant rosette and delicate inlays, adding visual charm without overburdening the instrument.
