With models like the McCarty and the Custom 24, PRS Guitars has made a sensational debut in the world of guitar, dominating today by marrying the qualities of the Stratocaster (vibrato, crystal clear sound, soft bass, comfort of the game) and the Les Paul (creamy crunch, mediums affirmed, endless sustain and luxurious finishes), adding a character of its own.

The SE (Student Edition) line at PRS consists of guitars assembled in Korea, with quality control at the main factory in Maryland, USA. By reducing production costs without compromising on quality, the result is more affordable guitars with the highest quality workmanship. 

This version of the PRS designed by John Mayer in collaboration with PRS is a killer! It has a few specs that distinguish it from the US version, all designed to make it easier to hold and more comfortable to play. The 8.5" maple fingerboard radius ensures that you can play both chords and licks, while maintaining excellent intonation and precision. The hardware and woods are very well chosen, and the guitar will be reliable for concerts and recordings. The tone of the pickups leans more towards the modern side, but with enough vintage vibe to quickly find an authentic sound.
