Hanika is a family owned business established is Baiersdorf (Germany) over 60 years ago. Every guitar is made on their premisses by a team of passionate craftsmen. It also is a 40 years old partnership between Servette-Music and both Helmut Hanika,and now his son Armin, who has taken the lead 15 years ago.

This model features the Lattice bracing concecpt originally developped by the famous Australian luthier Greg Smallman. It basically allows to reduce the soundboard thickness by half (1.3mm on our Hanika model) thus improving the wood flexibility by four. The response is then much faster, the dynamics greatly improved without affecting the tone substance. The lattice construction is of course much more time consuming which makes this guitar unbelievable in this price range!

The top is solid spruce. Back and sides are made of selected rosewood. The neck has been reinforced at its core with hardwood and mahogany. The natural sealing used to durably protect the guitar is a smart choice to offer this top professional guitar at an extraordinary price-performance ratio. Supplied with high quality Nicolo Alessi tuners, it will give you years of entire satisfaction.
